Background

HDL Design House was founded in 2001 to address two major challenges faced by SoC designers: 1) Integrating IP cores to speed time to market and achieve broader functionality, and 2) Verifying designs to ensure high quality before releasing them to manufacturing. The company’s IP cores and validation products ease the process of manufacturing new ASIC and FPGA products, enabling customers to concentrate on system-level work and be confident that the various system components have been fully and reliably engineered and tested.

Profitable since its inception, HDL Design House has seen an average annual growth rate in revenue of [40%] year over year. The company maintains two design centers in Serbia and has sales offices in North America and Israel.

In recognition of the company’s accomplishments, HDL Design House was named Exporter of the Year for 2006 by the Serbia Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA). HDL Design House came in ahead of 47 other competitors in the SME category.

Certifications
HDL Design House was awarded ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 27001:2005 certifications in December 2006 and has achieved certifications from Direct Assessment Services (DAS), thereby meeting United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) regulatory requirements.

Achieving ISO 9001:2000 certification has been a company-wide effort, resulting in the development of a Quality Management System (QMS) that will serve as a guide to continuously advance the products and services we provide. HDL Design House was granted certification after a rigorous audit by DAS Certification.

ISO 27001:2005 identifies the requirements for establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving a documented Information Security Management System (ISMS).

With the ISO 27001:2005 certification, the highest certification standard for information security available, HDL Design House becomes the first company in Serbia to comply with this standard.
